Benefits of Joining

A collaborative effort of several existing industries, the Hardin County Plant Managers' Association, the Elizabethtown/Hardin County Industrial Foundation and the Elizabethtown Community and Technical College has culminated into what is now known as the Elizabethtown/Hardin County Industrial Foundation Training Consortium (EIFTC). The Consortium provides training needed by local industries in the areas of computer applications, regulatory, maintenance and management.

Thus far, several thousand participants from over 50 businesses, industries, government agencies, and the general public have attended EIFTC courses.

The unique success of the EIFTC is the result of excellent cooperation among business and industry, the Elizabethtown/Hardin County Industrial Foundation and the Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.

Members serve on all committees, have class priority, and receive discounted class fees. Type Dues Class Fees Member $500 Discounted Non-member $0 Published Fee

The primary purpose of this organization is to develop and implement various training programs for local industry, to upgrade skills of current employees, and to provide continuity of educational development for students who may be considered for employment upon graduation.

The EIFTC provides leadership to continuously improve our globally competitive workforce, to strengthen existing companies, and keep our communities attractive to compatible, new, and relocating companies.
