The Elizabethtown/Hardin County Industrial Foundation is a not-for-profit economic development organization. The mission of the Foundation is to:

- Serve as ombudsman to the excellent existing industries in Elizabethtown and Hardin County

Support Existing Industry through:
The staff of the industrial foundation works closely with existing industries to answer their questions regarding state and local regulations and incentive programs. They provide assistance to secure the necessary resources for expansion of facilities or addition of equipment and overall are available to assist local business and industry in their ever changing needs.
Plant Managers Association - The Hardin County Plant Managers Association is a forum that meets monthly and allows industry to express their needs and concerns. The Elizabethtown Industrial Foundation serves as an ombudsman to facilitate the resolution of those concerns..
Training Consortium - 
The Elizabethtown Industrial Foundation Training Consortium is an industry-driven partnership between the Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and area industries. It provides short term, targeted training for industry and business employees.
