On behalf of the Elizabethtown/Hardin County Industrial Foundation, welcome to our site.

Elizabethtown, with a population of over 24,000, is the seat of government for Hardin County, the 4th largest county in Kentucky with a population of over 98,000. There are many businesses and a diverse industrial base that call the Hardin County area home. Additionally, it is home to the military installation at Fort Knox which is currently under a large expansion due to BRAC activities that includes the relocation of the Army's HR Command.

A keen understanding of the special needs of industry and a cooperative spirit between business, industry and government--as well as the vision that with careful planning, a superb place to do business can also be a quality place to live--has enabled Elizabethtown/Hardin County to successfully attract and retain quality industries from around the world.

With sites available from 2 to 1500 acres, we have a location just right for your company.

Please take a few minutes to view our video, browse our website and feel free to contact us at anytime for additional information.
